Yesterday the 29 of August st Elizabeth’s  level 3/4 and level 5/6 went to Ross Reserve for the st Elizabeth annual athletics carnival.

There were a lot of courses, high jump, triple jump, long jump, discuss, hurdles, short put and the 100m race. Everyone was sorted into their age groups from 9 year only girls to 12 year old girls also 9 year old boys to 12 year old boys. There was sure a lot of competing out there!

Every one of us have team colors, red, blue, green and yellow we were all competing for which team would come first. In 4th place was yellow , 3rd place was green, 2nd place was red and 1st place was blue. I’m part of the blue team and I’m also the sports captain for blue team along with my sports captain partner Kevin.

At first I had to give a short un-prepared speech about the day, I thanked mr Andrew our sports teacher and I also spoke about show important it was to try your best and salsa how its not about getting ribbons or going to district I think everyone gave it their best shot after all your doing sport to try it out not to get a ribbons.

What is your favorite sport?

what does sport mean to you?

    Dear Rozetta and bloggers,

My favourite sport for athletics would be high jump, but overall my favourite sport would be netball, soccer and footy. Sport to me doesn’t mean winning, to me it means trying your best, giving a go and having lots of fun.

    From Marie
