What I understand about the five fundamental freedoms
12 09 20135/6 SG have been learning a lot about the government including the 3 levels of government today we have been learning about the 5 fundamental freedoms.
Freedom of speech: I think that freedom of speech is when you are allowed to say what you want but they have to be facts and that they’re not racist and if it is against the law you cannot take actions.
-Freedom of association: Freedom of association is when you are free to join any legal organization group like the trade union or the political party.
-Freedom of assembly: You can meet in groups for legal social or political purposes to discuss.
-Freedom of religion: means that Australia doesn’t just focus on one religion there is no law stating you cannot be a person from another country with a certain religion because Australia is based on multiculturalism.
-Freedom of movement: stating that you can leave and come back to Australia (citizens only ) but obviously you would have to have the right paper work and files including visas and passports.
